A richly detailed vintage Greek textile, this piece is a masterclass in vibrant symmetry. Rows of diamond, chevron, and floral-inspired motifs in scarlet, emerald, lapis, and ochre are framed within bold borders—giving the piece a tapestry-like presence. Each shape is placed with purpose, forming a rhythmic geometry that evokes village tilework or ancient mosaic patterns. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
