Phāea Blue

Anthologist was asked to collaborate with the newly launched, boutique hotel, Phāea Blue in Elounda, Crete in its re-creation of one of its restaurants, Anthós. Phaea Blue celebrates a truer, more timeless Greece, and the hotel embodies authenticity, elegance, and composure, creating a serene retreat for discerning travelers. A story was created, and an installation was curated, with each piece reflecting Andria Mitsakos’s profound vision, encapsulating the soul of Greece and underscoring the brand’s commitment to cultural preservation. The installation celebrates reflection in all its forms, both literally and figuratively, creating awareness and dimension.

The East Winds renovation reimagines the beloved Saint Lucian resort, celebrating Caribbean heritage through storytelling and artisanal craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of island hospitality, Andria Mitsakos directed a narrative told through objects and cultural craft, where every piece evokes a sense of place and purpose. Over 70% of the furniture was restored, complemented by custom creations made by local artisans. From refreshed rooms to reimagined common areas, the design stirs the soul, honoring East Winds' storied history. The result is a timeless retreat that merges vibrant nostalgia with contemporary sophistication.
