Luxury is not simply about having more. It is about noticing more.

Andria Estelle Mitsakos,  Anthologist Founder and Creative Director

Andria Estelle Mitsakos is the Founder and Creative Director of Anthologist, a world of objects, stories and experiences rooted in craftsmanship, cultural memory and the art of discovery.

Through Anthologist, she works with hotels and development teams to identify creative and commercial opportunities across the guest experience, from retail and objects to executive wardrobes, service rituals, collections and original concepts. Her work transforms overlooked spaces and ideas into experiences that engage guests, generate new revenue and create meaningful connections between hotels and the communities around them. She is also the CEO and creative vision behind The Store at The Ilisian, the luxury retail concept within Conrad Athens The Ilisian, bringing together fashion, art, objects and design from Greece and around the world.

Her perspective is informed by more than 30 years in hospitality and an upbringing shaped equally by design, history and intellectual curiosity. As Founder and President of AMPR Global, she has spent three decades advising and representing hotels and hospitality brands internationally. Today, she brings that commercial understanding together with her work as a collector, creative director and collaborator with artisans and makers around the world, often engaged by hotels with a deceptively simple brief: to add soul to a space.

Andria Estelle believes the world is wide and full of wonder, and that the most compelling hotels should be too: places that inspire discovery, tell stories through objects and experiences, and become destinations not only for their guests, but for the communities they call home.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

We choose quality materials and sweat the small stuff, so what you get feels solid from day one.

Attention to detail is frequently described as a hallmark of luxury. For Andria, it begins with something more fundamental: the ability to notice. The texture of something made by hand. An unexpected object in a room. The way something is wrapped, presented or placed. A gesture that anticipates what someone might need before they ask.Individually, these moments can seem insignificant. Together, they create atmosphere, identity and memory. In Attention to Detail, Andria explores why meaningful experiences are rarely created by adding more. Instead, they come from looking more closely, making considered choices and understanding the emotional impact of seemingly small things. Drawing on hospitality, travel, retail, craft and her own creative practice, Andria considers what genuine attention to detail means for luxury today, and why it matters more than ever.

A POINT OF VIEW

Luxury is not simply about having more. It is about noticing more.

For Andria, curiosity is a creative practice. Her work begins with looking: at how something has been made, where it has come from, who made it and what story it might carry.Travel is central to this process. Encounters with makers, workshops, markets, hotels, homes and creative communities continually inform her understanding of objects and the environments we create around them. This perspective has shaped Anthologist and Andria's wider creative practice: an evolving exploration of how objects, craft and storytelling can connect people to places.
