Our new block-print robes are created by Sameer and his team of artisans using a centuries-old craft. In Rajasthan, hand-carved wooden blocks have been pressed into cloth for over 450 years — a tradition believed to have begun in the 16th century when the Mughal emperors patronized textile makers, sending block-printed cottons as prized exports across Asia and Europe. Each block is still carved by hand, each color mixed by hand, and each impression stamped by hand. The rhythm of block printing is meditative, imperfect, and deeply human —and that is its beauty.

 With Sameer, we created a custom palette was created, the prints washed and sun-dried inJaipur’s golden light before being cut and sewn by hand. The Anthologist Chimera— part lion, part serpent, part goat — leaps across organic cotton as a symbol of strength and transformation. Exclusively ours, each robe is a wearable story: of craft, of continuity, of myth carried forward.
