A woven story
A thought, a philosophy
Each is nostalgia
DESCRIPTION
Rodin (Ρόδιν): Derived from the Greek word for garnet, reflecting the rich red of winter fruit and polished stone.
A handwoven wool pillow in deep winter garnet, inspired by the ceremonial textiles of the Greek highlands. Its swirling botanical pattern appears almost illuminated from within, evoking the season’s rich colors and the warmth of firelit interiors. A bold anchor for winter rooms shaped by heritage and craft.
Garnet is associated with nourishment, vitality, and deep grounding in the winter season. In Greek folklore, the pomegranate’s seeds—similar in tone to garnet—represent abundance, safe returns, and the cyclical turning of the year.
