DESCRIPTION

Pyrí (Πυρή): Greek for “core / seed / ember-heart” — evoking the glowing, firelit center of winter, and the geometric motifs that radiate from the textile like heat.

A sweeping handwoven Greek wool throw in deep saffron, patterned with traditional geometric diamonds. Inspired by winter textiles from the Pindos and Rhodope mountains, Pyrí brings ceremonial warmth and ancestral craft to any winter interior.

Pyrí (Πυρή) holds two intertwined meanings in Greek — the core and the ember. The repeating diamond motifs recall protective symbols found in highland weaving — forms believed to safeguard the household and attract prosperity. The radiant palette — reds, saffron, warm golds — was traditionally chosen to brighten shadowed winter interiors.

In The Heirloom Hearth, Pyrí stands as a statement piece: expansive, elemental, and rich with the emotional archaeology of Greek winter craft.
