DESCRIPTION

This vintage Greek embroidered runner feels like a love letter to symmetry and symbolism. Bold vase-like motifs, filled with colorful crisscross patterns, anchor each end of the linen base—surrounded by delicate florals and framed by a festive border in ruby, turquoise, and olive. The overall effect is playful yet precise, bringing a handmade brightness to any surface it graces. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
