DESCRIPTION
With its finely embroidered medallion pattern and multicolored fringe, this vintage Greek table runner brings a festive spirit to the table. Rows of hand-stitched motifs in rich tones of olive, wine, sky blue, and gold flow down the center, framed by a delicate floral border. The wool fringe at each end adds texture and movement, reminiscent of village celebrations and long Sunday lunches. Whether laid across a table, sideboard, or end of a bed, it offers a burst of color and a connection to tradition. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
