This vintage Greek runner is a charming fusion of embroidery and lacework. Bright blue, deep red, and green floral bouquets are stitched across a natural linen base, framed at both ends with intricate hand-crocheted trim. The balance of fine detail and bright color gives it the feel of a cherished heirloom—one that once adorned a grandmother’s dresser or a festive table during name days and holidays. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
