DESCRIPTION
Chorévi (Χορεύει): Greek for “she dances” inspired by the procession of woven figures holding hands across the textile, echoing village dances and winter festivities.
A handwoven wool runner alive with striped bands of crimson, ochre, green, and midnight blue, animated by rows of stylized dancers in multicolored dress. Its rhythmic pattern and vibrant palette give it a celebratory presence, whether draped over furniture or hung as a small wall tapestry. Chorévi recalls the communal textiles once displayed during feast days, gatherings, and moments of shared joy.
In Greek tradition, the circle dance symbolizes unity, continuity, and the strength of community through the darker months. This textile carries that spirit evoking a lively reminder of togetherness, movement, and the warmth found in collective celebration.
