A radiant example of Greek folk embroidery, this vintage runner is alive with rhythmic pattern and jewel-toned threadwork. Vertical bands of geometric motifs in emerald, fuchsia, saffron, and violet are flanked by columns of stylized florals—creating a vibrant sense of symmetry and movement. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
