Anthologist Open House: A December Gathering in Athens

Anthologist Open House: A December Gathering in Athens

Last night, our Athens showroom opened its doors for a spirited winter gathering — a chance to welcome friends, clients, collectors, and wanderers into the world of Anthologist as the festive season begins. The space glowed with that familiar mix of texture and light: the patchwork wall of vintage textiles, the antique Murano light fixtures, the wicker menagerie from our artisans, and our favorite Tobias Scarpa table layered with new arrivals and holiday-only creations.

It was an evening shaped by lovely people drifting in and out, discovering pieces that had only just arrived from our workshops across Greece, Mexico, India, Egypt, and beyond. Guests previewed next season’s textiles, slipped on new one-of-a-kind jewels, met the newest members of the Anthologist Ark, and found those unexpected gifts that feel touched by a story. The studio hummed with conversation—designers chatting with travelers, neighbors meeting artisans, long-time clients choosing presents for someone they love.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do: to create a space where handmade traditions, contemporary collecting, and human connection come together. To offer beauty that is warm, real, and culturally rooted. To celebrate craft, seasonality, and the joy of giving.

Our Athens showroom will remain open through 23 December, each day until 6 pm, for those wishing to explore the collection in person. And of course, our online shop is always open for those further afield — or already swept up in the holiday rush.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!
