A Tale of Two Stores: Anthologist Returns to Paros
As the Aegean sun rises on a new season, Anthologist returns to the island of Paros with the reopening of its two concept stores: one at the design-forward sanctuary of Parīlio, and the other at the beach-kissed Cosme, in the heart of Naoussa. Though just kilometers apart, each store tells its own story—rooted in Cycladic culture, interpreted through the Anthologist lens.
At Parīlio: Quiet Icons and Craft-Led Refinement
At Parīlio, where the architecture draws from ancient geometry and earthy minimalism, the Anthologist space feels more like a private studio than a shop. It’s here you’ll soon find our new resortwear capsule created with a master block printer in Jaipur—each piece hand-stamped, sun-dried, and cut in silhouettes that nod to island life.
Bags, gently used books, metallic-threaded caftans, delicate jewelry, and antique textiles round out a collection made for the traveler who moves slowly and styles intuitively. The edit is restrained, intentional, and deeply tactile. These are pieces to live in—and live with.
At Cosme: A Soulful, Spirited Summer
By contrast, the Cosme store hums with the energy of Naoussa. Here, Anthologist’s flagship Parian boutique offers a more eclectic mix: cotton dresses that catch the wind just right, handmade belts and brass bracelets that reflect the light, custom gift kits, woven clutches, and sunset-toned scarves perfect for the early evening ritual.
This year, we’ve expanded the offering with objects for the home, gifts for the host, and a collection of items that celebrate the Greek summer in full—colorful, cinematic, unbothered. Many are exclusive to Cosme and can’t be found anywhere else.
Two Shops. One Soul.
Though distinct in mood, the two stores are united by the Anthologist philosophy: objects should be storied, soul-led, and rooted in their place of origin. Every item has been hand-selected by founder Andria Mitsakos, who has spent decades traveling, collecting, and curating a world where craftsmanship is currency—and nostalgia is the most chic souvenir.
Whether you find yourself in Parīlio’s tranquil embrace or Cosme’s coastal rhythm, stop by. Discover something that feels like it already belonged to you.
