New Drop: Winter Vintage Greek Textiles From Anthologist Athens
Athens-based design brand Anthologist, founded by Greek-American Andria Mitsakos, introduces its winter textile collection, The Heirloom Hearth — a return to the hearth as both place and metaphor: the emotional center of the home, where memory gathers and time slows.

Inspired by the winter palette of the Hellenic mountains, the collection unfolds in deep charcoal, garnet red, pomegranate shadow, and the muted glimmer of aged gold. Hand-loomed heirlooms, ancestral motifs, and richly woven wool textiles form its core — pieces steeped in rural craftsmanship and shaped by generations of use. Each textile carries a sense of having lived many winters before, belonging to quiet evenings, ritual, and the intimacy of firelight.
Textiles are central to Andria’s personal history. Her grandmother worked the mills of Massachusetts, her great-aunt dealt in antiques, and her interior-designer mother still searches markets for enduring pieces. After more than a decade living in Greece, Andria founded Anthologist five years ago as a way to honor this lineage through contemporary curation.
Each piece in The Heirloom Hearth is one of a kind — sourced slowly, often held in Andria’s personal archive before release. Never replicated or mass-produced, these textiles are conceived as collectible objects: anchors between past and present, designed to bring warmth, depth, and soul into modern interiors.

“These are pieces that invite heritage into the home,” says Mitsakos. “They hum with history. They’re meant to be lived with, cherished, and eventually passed on.”
If you’re working on winter stories, we’d be happy to share exclusive imagery, detailed backstories of individual pieces, and interviews with Andria on her sourcing process and the emotional provenance behind the collection.
