Journey to lands through the stars
Seeking love as ours
DESCRIPTION
White carpets are rare to find, and hard for us to part with, but we want you to share in the story too. This colorful find features a border of whimsical figures, with a central panel of traditional folkloric design in a palette to suit any location in your home.
Each entirely unique, Anthologist’s textiles are a coveted collection of those sought-after, magazine page-worthy pieces that are sure sell-outs. All of our stock is sourced from personal collections of the highest quality craftsmanship, with each piece hand-chosen by our founder based on rarity, provenance, and artisanal integrity. When sourced, most textiles remain NFS (not for sale) in our founder’s personal collection, with each piece slowly released into the inventory on an ongoing basis.
As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul. Please also note that some carpets have seams, which are part of their inherent beauty, as loom sizes dictated how wide carpets could be woven, so in some instances, there can be two or three pieces, each hand-sewn together. This is a normal feature of handcrafted carpets.
