Influenced by Andria Mitsakos’s Greek origin, her years of working with the country’s artisan manufacturing sector, and the grand matriarchs in her family —visionary women who were textile and leather artisans —she has revived Ancient Greek traditions in a modern world with the Folk Capsule. Andria has over a decade of experience working in the handbag industry, creating collections in Milan for years before moving her production to Athens, Greece ten years ago in 2013.
The Livas clutch with fringe is handmade by a small team of artisans in Athens with carefully selected leathers and vintage Greek textiles punctuated with hand-crafted brass hardware. Each bag celebrates a new complexity as they enrich each style in relevant combinations for today’s woman embarking on a new journey.
