Anthologist Flagship

Athens, Greece

Part showroom, part event space, part exhibition gallery, Anthologist represents a new wave of retail: A boutique that discourages people from shopping, pointing them toward curated collecting instead. Hoteliers, interior designers, architects, and travelers can make an appointment to consult with Anthologist founder and product designer Andria Mitsakos, who will guide them through her own collections of jewelry, handbags and belts, brass objets d’art, and ceramics, all made by local artisans in Greece. Specializing in vintage and antique textiles, alongside other found objects, Anthologist also offers up-cycled traditional Greek tagari bags, and coveted Art Deco era kimonos. As part of her mission to sustain Greek culture by supporting Greek arts and handicrafts, Mitsakos also sources and commissions profound, soulful objects for hotels, designers, and collectors.

A shoppable museum of objects that tell stories, Anthologist isn’t just changing the way collectors shop, but is revitalizing this quintessentially local neighborhood as well. Anthologist events and exhibits lure Athenians and visitors alike to this overlooked corner of the city to celebrate heritage, authenticity, and the human drive to seek beauty and meaning.

Visits are by appointment only. Please contact athens@anthologist.com

The spirit of Greek summer?

Yes, you can take it with you.

Each of Anthologist’s seasonal shops is a cabinet of curiosity featuring our current collections, limited edition items created for its location, and artisanal objects sourced by Andria to reflect the authentic ambience of the Greek islands and her global wanderings.

A Luxury Collection Resort

Paros, Greece

Set in the soulful, whitewashed village of Naoussa—the jewel of Paros—with the clear-blue Aegean at its feet, Cosme embraces the energy of the sea and reciprocates the joyful pulse of the town. A spirited, cosmopolitan base for the global explorer with 40 suites, the five-star property features a beachfront Mediterranean restaurant, spa and a private beach club overlooking the turquoise sea.

Parīlio Hotel

A Member of Design Hotels

Paros, Greece

There’s a reason Parīlio is beloved as our founder’s summer annex. A 33-suite luxe retreat characterized by Paros’s timeless simplicity, Parīlio is surrounded by pastoral landscapes of amber-hued fields, unending Cycladic light, and, of course, the impossibly blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Andria lived here during her farmhouse renovation, and now Anthologist also calls this luxe hotel home.

Hotel Grande Bretagne

The Luxury Collection

Athens, Greece

“This grand dame of the city is part of my story. It was here that I was in residence for three months before I decided to get an apartment and call Athens home. Its walls have been witness to love, deep conversation and the start of many, many more stories. Now Anthologist joins its retail shop, GB Corner, located on the most iconic corner of the entire city in Syntagma Square. Along with our brass collection, jewelry, belts, ceramics, and a small library of vintage textiles, I’ve designed some exclusive pieces available only at this location.
