As a notorious symbol of Greek folkloric heritage—and integral to the DNA of Anthologist—a donkey was the inspiration for the exclusive key ring we designed for Empiria Group, which owns and operates five-star resorts and villas on the Cycladic islands of Paros and Santorini.
Designed by Anthologist’s founder as a bespoke turn-down, VIP guest and retail item for Bikini Hotel Mallorca, Panito is handcrafted by a team of female artisans in Mexico using boiled wood thread, hand-woven and hand-dyed with vegetable and plant extracts. A Member of Design Hotels, Cretan Malia Park unveiled a new restaurant, MEZZE, in summer 2002 where Creative Consultant Chef Athinagoras Kostakos introduced a lively concept and Levant-inspired menu. Anthologist was asked to contribute to the OS&E to enhance the authenticity of a traditional and authentic Greek gastronomy experience.
New this season, each of our hand-thrown vases and vessels showcase our signature, hand-painted motif commissioned by our founder. Poetic, simple and primitive in style, each piece is handcrafted in an Athens workshop. We also selected the signature, brass salt and pepper grinders which are handmade in Northern Greece.
Cannelait’s pledge to keep their production artisanal while respecting the seasonality of ingredients as well as the savoir-faire of Greek and French pastry is why we love what they do so much.
Anthologist’s Creative Director Andria Mitsakos was asked to contribute to style their photo shoot (and used her very own Panito Cottage as a location), enhancing the authenticity of a traditional and authentic gastronomy experience. Our plates and vessels showcase our signature, hand-painted motif commissioned by Andria. Poetic, simple and primitive in style, each piece is handcrafted in an Athens workshop. We also used pieces of Andria’s own raw marble collection and some of her favorite vintage and antique finds.
Utilizing PHĀEA's brand colors, floral elements celebrate the bounty of Crete’s natural resources and PHĀEA’s commitment to its land, while PHĀEA’s logo mark is seen in the center. The worldwide recognizable Greek letter “Φ” represents the golden ratio, a symbol of balance used in art and architecture since ancient times.
